There are now almost 1.9 billion websites on the Internet. To be found among many visitors, registration in the search engine index is of great importance.
If you don’t have your website yet, you can create it yourself in just a few steps and then go straight to the registration.
A large proportion of all search queries go through the Google search engine. For this reason, your website must be included in the index as quickly as possible. You have two options: Either you wait until the so-called “crawler” from Google automatically recognizes your website, or you consciously log on to your website.
To start Google indexing, all you need is the URL of your website and a Google account. Allow a few minutes and a total of three steps for registration.
The first step is to create a free Google account by clicking on “Sign in” and “Create account” on the start page. Provide the information required to create your account. If you already have a Google account, you can, of course, skip this step.
As soon as your Google account has been created, switch to the “Google Search Console.” Log in with your details and select your dashboard.
The last step is to register your website. In the menu on the left, select “Add property.” Enter the URL of your website here and tap on “+ Add property.” Your indexing application has now been sent.
Registration is no guarantee that your website will be included in Google’s index. Usually, your website will be checked after a few days. According to Google guidelines, if you have created the website, there should be nothing to prevent it from being included in the index.
You can use a site query to check whether your website is already listed on Google. All indexed URLs for this domain are displayed with the search query “site: www.yourdomain.com,” all indexed URLs for this domain are displayed.
The two search engines Bing and Yahoo, only make up a small proportion of search queries, but they are still important. You should also think about indexing here if you want to reach people abroad with your website, especially in the US market.

Create your free Microsoft account with Bing. To do this, click on “Register,” enter all relevant data and complete the registration.
Once you have created your account, you will access the Bing Webmaster Tool. Sign in to your account and select your dashboard.
Select the “Add Website” button to open the registration form. Here you enter the URL of your website and can configure search settings and warnings simultaneously.
Here, too, indexing usually takes a few days. Compared to Google, however, you can see the current status of your registration via status messages.
